A few months ago I met up with Eric Trine for an unrelated metal project and happened across this hex chair frame he was in the process of developing. The frame was unfinished and without a seat at the time but I immediately had ideas for it.
The frame itself is an unusual hexagonal steel. It’s simple, minimal and a nice contrast to the natural leather sling. The sling is hand cut and sewn to fit each frame perfectly. If you are interested in this chair specifically, I am selling two for $500 each. There are plans to sell white, black and cyan frames for around $600 each in the near future.
