In the NW where it’s rainy and dark throughout the winter it’s nice to have a light and bright house, especially in the kitchen. Rustic elements like butcher block and reclaimed Doug Fir wood floors were balanced with glossy white subway tile and carrara marble to reimagine this once stuffy and dark kitchen.
